Established in 1926, Arthur Black has become a well known blacksmith's providing a specialist service to many clients, both domestic and industrial.
Starting in a small workshop in Ladywood the business has grown and evolved to suit the demands and needs of those whom we supply.
Founded by its namesake, the business has been passed down though the Black family, the current director is Arthur's grandson, Keith Black.

At some point most industries will have need of a skilled blacksmith - whether it be for prototype or batch manufacture.
We strive to deliver quality products at competitive rates.
We will quote for any forging, bending, and manipulative and fabrication requirements, usually, but not exclusively, to a customer's own drawing.

With the aid of Robin Ling, a young and enthusiastic blacksmith in his own right, the business looks forward to its centenary in 2026.
